What honestly keeps me coming back time and time again is the basque cake. It's one of the best desserts I've ever had in Madison and I loved it so much, I literally went to Spain and went to Bilbao, Spain which is part of Basque country to get my hands one this cake. I did be the way, and it was fantastic, with this rendition but Chef Miller being a very close second. The basque cake has this nice crust on the outer layer but inside soft, almost like cheesecake and the fruit compote pairs so well with it. Since panorama (pandemic) times, I was able to go one of the family to-go meals with the traditional Spanish Tortilla. The side dishes were roasted beets, croquetas, and roasted butternut squad. I loved all the side dishes, especially the beets! The tortilla has a lot of layers and was dense but has some great taste. It was served with a really yummy aioli sauce that I wish I had 2 little more of the sauce containers for. For dessert, you guessed it -- basque cake!! The best part was given the smallest piece and for meal for two, I was so sad! They split 1 slice into 2 halves. Almost on the verge of tears sad, almost. It's really that good and I could go on and on but you should really get a slice for yourself :) Enjoy!

Really beautiful Spanish restaurant in the middle of Madison. My girlfriend and I were really tempted to order the tasting menu, but alas we decided to pick and choose a la carte. We ordered a variety of items, including the Hand-pulled Mozzarella, Huevos al Lucio, Crispy Pork Belly, and Basque Cake. We loved the mozzarella and Huevos al Lucio. The mozzarella had a perfect sweet, salty, savory bite with all the ingredients combined together (charred apple, mozzarella, Jamon Iberico). The Huevos Al Lucio might've been our favorite dish. The fries were dangerously good, and they soaked up the egg yolk excellently. We weren't as much of a fan of the Pork Belly. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, with the Thai chili-cranberry sauce being pretty overwhelming. The pork belly was cooked nicely, but it's difficult to remember anything else other than the sweetness of the dish. The Basque cake was a great way to finish the meal. It's definitely a bit heavy, but it's so so good. The sour cream frozen custard sounds strange, but compliments the cake excellently. The meal ended up being surprisingly affordable for us, even though we left feeling very stuffed. The dinner was also well-paced and service was excellent. I'd highly recommend Estrellon!

I loved Estrellon! It was my first time here and I liked everything I tried. It's a tapas/small plates style restaurant with excellent service. We were a party of nine and our server was great. He made good suggestions and recommendations. They have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options and dessert menu was good too. The basque royal cake is delicious and a must try. Perfect for a date night or a girls night out. Full points for ambience and decor.
